Gentle Yoga For Stiff Bodies:

Experience more freedom of movement
Reduce back, leg, hip, neck, shoulder pain
Improve balance and posture


Classes using props make it easier to work smarter without injury. Emphasis is placed on posture and alignment, doing less, correctly, rather than more, incorrectly. Introduction to Iyengar yoga include standing poses, forward bends, back bends, twists, limited inversions. Slow, thoughtful practice.


Level II:


Previous Iyengar instruction required. Looking within and refinement of all poses.

THURSDAYS: 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM



Chair Yoga:


Chair exercises are specifically designed for people who are not able to get up and down off the floor without the assistance of another person. Some standing exercises with the chair to hold on to and the support of a wall are also incorporated. This class is suitable for people with limitations (and their care givers), who are mobile. Emphasis is on improving posture, range of motion, breath and a positive attitude. (Laughing is encouraged)

Pranayama:


The art of breathing. Instruction and practice in how to prepare the body and mind to relax, instruction and practice on various breaths, followed by integration thru relaxation. This is very powerful for restoring balance to the body, mind and spirit.
